The switch mode rectifiers are the result of SOCOMEC SICON UPS 's wide experience in providing power supplies for high quality DC applications. They integrate the latest in electronic component and microprocessor command circuit technology.
Voltage precision and stability
Both the speed and precision of the control loop and the rapid response time of the rectifiers soft switching DC/DC converter guarantee high quality output voltage under dynamic conditions.
Flexible and easy up-grading
As the power systems are based on a modular concept, they can be initially configured to suit the customers present requirements, and expanded at a later date to meet future power expansion requirements.
Adaptability
All the rectifier modules have special autocentering connectors at the back for an easy installation within the power system (hot plug-in). Modules can be inserted/ removed with the power on without having to carry out any special operations and/or cause any interruption.
The power systems can be delivered in various sizes of cabinets: from a 1400 mm high cabinet to a 2200 mm high cabinet.
The systems can be easily adapted to DC current requirements using accessories (i.e. with batteries).
SOCOMEC SICON UPS proposes different types of batteries: open or sealed lead-acid, or nickel-cadmium. Depending on their configuration, the batteries can be integrated into the same bay as the module or within a separate cabinet.
