- Emergency lighting
- Control centres
- Shopping malls
- Hospitals
- Sports complexes
- Alarm systems
This UPS has been specifically designed to make it particularly suitable for the protection and supply of power to applications where back-up, safety and total continuity of service are the priority: hospitals, control centres, alarm systems, shopping malls. |
|
Mod-EM has the possibility of three-phase input power supply. Moreover, the availability of a completely independent free slot makes it possible to install, on this version only, an additional Mod-RK. In this case, the two UPSs use the same high capacity and back-up batteries. This configuration can be used when needing to power two completely distinct and independent lines, so as to be able to protect loads which are different in terms of application, absorption and the type of protection required.
Total availability
The standard batteries give up to an hour of back-up. This is ideal for installations where a guaranteed power supply is an essential requisite. Moreover, the efficient internal battery charger supplied as a standard greatly reduces battery charging time, so that the system is ready for another intervention in a very short time, thus guaranteeing total availability. Furthermore, optional batteries allow up to three hours back up time. |
|
Galvanic isolation
The transformer installed inside the Mod-EM and supplied as a standard, enables it to guarantee and work with the IT, TT or TN arrangements, thus satisfying the most stringent standards applied in the field of environmental safety. It is also possible to configure exclusion of the automatic by-pass and monitor the system by means of the standard Remote Mimic Panel.
Flexibility
The extreme flexibility of this device is demonstrated by the possibility of obtaining up to four distinct power supply lines (see drawing). The availability of a free slot to install an additional and completely independent Mod-RK, allows for the use of two UPSs where the relative Power Share plugs (one for each UPS) define and distinguish two lines of privileged power from two lines for "non critical" loads (four in all), completely separate from each other. If the mains line is down, the common batteries will guarantee no-break operation for each line. |
